Valentines Day Candles

Valentine’s Day, the one day of the year when love is in the air and you find yourself looking around for things to impress the one you love. You need not look any further than Valentine floating candles. It is amazing how you can transform a room from ordinary to spectacular with just a few candles and some other things that will make it easy to set the mood for the evening.

All you need to do this is a large bowl with some water in it and place some red heart-shaped candles in the water. Lay this on a dresser with a mirror. This will reflect the light of your candles beautifully. Place smaller bowls with water and heart-shaped candles in them around the room, preferably close to the bed but not so close as they would cause a fire. You can place them on some night tables and other places that would be safe. Change your bed linen to something such as satin and sprinkle the sheets with rose petals.

The red rose petals will look spectacular against the white glaze of the satin. You have now transformed your bedroom from that every day clean and make the bed day to a wonderful mystic romantic place that you can hide away with the one you love even if it is just until the kids pile in your bed in the morning.

Add a box of chocolates and maybe a bottle of wine to complete your romantic getaway. Some soft music and you are on your way to an island all your own. If you add the right scented heart-shaped candles, then they can help you travel anywhere you want to be. Don’t forget that beautiful nightgown that you have been holding onto for just such an occasion. Well now is the time to unpack it and get it out. The room will look totally different when the candles are lit and they will flicker delightfully as they float around the bowls you have placed there.
